The Dells Mill is a museum with historic properties. It is located at
E18855 County Road V, Augusta, Wisconsin.
The Dells Mill was built in 1864 when Wisconsin had just been a State for 16 years. The town of Augusta was
just 8 years old. The area
was barely settled and Augusta, Wisconsin was just a pioneer community. The Dells Mill was built as a grist mill and it was a place for social interaction and conversion.
Less than half a mile to the east of the Dells Pond lies the Dells Mill school; built in 1866 to serve as an elementary school for grades 1 through 8.
