Located at 306 Baldwin street, exactly three blocks from the main street (East Lincoln or Hwy 12 and 27) in Augusta, Wisconsin, the Augusta Victorian Rose is a classic two-story home built in the early 1900s. It has many traditional features including built-in bookcases, open stairway, abundant wood work, a fireplace, and a large sun porch. The house was renovated and decorated by a professional interior decorator, Camille Plumlee of C’easonal Decor, with a Victorian theme and setting in 2007.
The Augusta Victorian Rose offers 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms — all decorated in Victorian style. Most of today’s modern convenieces have been incorporated. Whether sitting on the front porch listening to the clip clop of Amish buggies going by or taking a soothing bath in one of our claw-foot tubs, our visitors should find the Augusta Victorian Rose a place of peaceful relaxation and comfort.
Within a few miles of the Augusta Victorian Rose, visitors will also find several interesting area attractions, including the Amish community, Dells Mill, the popular Gingerbread Jersey Cheese factory, the Woodshed, Henning Art Gallery, and Punk’s Pond. (Please check the Area Attractions button on the left for more details.)
Augusta sits in the middle of beautiful northwest Wisconsin with rolling hills, lakes, rivers and streams, marshes, pine and deciduous forests, and charming open spaces. The area was settled in the mid 1800s by German, English, Scottish, Scandinavian and other European immigrants. Victorian buildings remain and are still very much in use today.
